In tandem with ID.ology out of Asheville, NC, we created a home that integrated a Western US aesthetic with a style rooted in the history of Charleston’s European influence of masonry work….as well as my touch of contemporary elements that included expansive glass, a Tesla Solar Roof System, timber detailing, and Shou Sugi Ban siding to create a hybrid of sorts that is unlike anything else I have designed. True to form, this home meets the needs of the a couple who enjoy a home that is cozy, inviting, and above all, performs well in this coastal environment.
